Eryngium ‘Big Blue’

Bright violet-blue flowers on huge, blue bracts. July – August. 18 – 30″ tall. Full sun, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Best in lean, dry soils. Avoid overwatering. Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies. Excellent cut & dried flower. Leave flower heads post-bloom to attract seed-eating birds. Zone 5.
