Cream-colored flowers. Apr-May. 12″ tall. Very long, narrow leaves with extra spiny margins emerge maroon then age to green. Evergreen. Part sun – shade, well-drained soil. Competes well with tree roots. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Similar to but larger than ‘Spine Tingler’. Groundcover, edger, tree islands, woodlands, accent, specimen. Zone 6.
