Silvery-white 2-3″ globes on contrasting red stems. July – Sep. Compact and stiff. 2 – 3′ tall. Silver-green leaves are slightly spiny and deeply dissected with downy under-sides. Full sun, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies and pollinators. Deer resistant. Excellent for cutting and drying. Salt tolerant. Low maintenance. Zone 3.
