Flowers open a brilliant red and soften as they age. July – September. 16 – 28″ tall. Full sun, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Excellent cut flower. Low maintenance. Garden borders, large containers. Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies as well as seed-eating birds. Zone 4.
