Clematis texensis ‘Duchess of Albany’

Pink tulip-shaped flowers with a cherry red bar. 2 – 3″ across. Blooms July – October. Full sun – part shade (noted shade tolerant variety). 10 – 20′. For best growth, mulch or plant groundcovers around base to keep roots cool. Needs support – fence, deck railing, trellis, arbor, pole. Attracts butterflies. Texas native species. Zone 4.
