Large, silvery-lilac flowers. 6 – 7″ across. Creamy-white anthers. Blooms June – July, August. 8 – 10′. Full sun – part shade (noted shade tolerant variety). Attracts butterflies. For best growth, mulch or plant groundcovers around base to keep roots cool. Needs support – fence, deck railing, arbor, trellis, pole. Zone 4.
