Large, magenta-red blooms; 4-6″ across. Gold anthers. 8-12′ tall. Full sun; well-drained soil. For best growth, mulch or plant groundcovers around base to keep roots cool. Needs support – fence, deck railing, arbor, trellis, pole. Attracts butterflies. Group 3. Zone 4.
