A beloved wildflower with stunning blue flowers July to September. Slender stems with few leaves but many flower buds, grows up to 36″ tall. Full sun. Easy to grow. Drought tolerant. Attracts pollinators. Historically, the tap root was used as a coffee substitute. Great for meadows, cottage gardens, and more. Zone 3.
