White turtlehead-shaped flowers on dark red to purple stems. August – September. 24 – 36″ tall. Narrow, glossy, green leaves with reddish midribs. Deer resistant. Attracts pollinator. Charming! Cultivar of a Northeastern U.S. native species. Zone 3.
