Delicate, graceful habit. Dark red-brown seed heads add ornamental appeal. Aug-Dec. 2-3’ tall. Part sun – shade. Easy and low maintenance. A great native grass for shade! Wet soil tolerant but adapts well to average even moderately droughty soils. Deer resistant. NE US native. Zone 4.
