Pale pink-lavender to sometimes white blooms resemble a delicate basket. May-Aug. Lance-shaped gray-green foliage. 3-4′ tall. Full sun; dry to medium, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. The nectar is adored by pollinators and the seeds are prized by songbirds. Great for cutting and drying. Magnificent annual! Native to South Central U.S.
