Attractive blue foliage. 10 – 12″ tall. Light to full shade; organically rich soil. Moderately drought tolerant. Moist soil tolerant. Deer resistant. Combines well with ferns, hellebores, pulmonaria, Phlox stolonifera, epimedium, asarum, saruma, heuchera. Northeastern U.S. native of rich, deciduous woods. Zone 5.
