Lush mounds of dark green foliage. 8″ tall when grown dry to 24″ tall when grown moist. Full sun to full shade. Deer resistant. Tough and adaptable groundcover. Excellent under trees. Useful in drifts and as an edger. Great interplanted with spring flowering bulbs. Zone 5.
