QUAKING GRASS
Flower stalks are topped with “puffy oats” to 30″ tall – green with red-purple tints at first, bleaching to light straw color later; rustles in the breeze. May – August. Excellent cut flower. Forms dense tufts of green, semi-evergreen foliage 6″ tall. Full sun – part shade. Durable & long-lived. Plant in masses & drifts. Deer resistant. Zone 4.
