Bright yellow flower spikes. June – July. Attractive foliage. Bushy habit. 2′ tall. Full sun – light shade. Deer resistant. Excellent in mixed borders. Plant low growing groundcovers around them as a compliment. Leave seedpods standing for winter interest. Long lived. NE U.S. native species. Our plants are Long Island native. Zone 4.
