Dramatic, light grey-green leaves with dark red stems. 12 – 18″ tall. Light to moderate shade. Grows best in organically rich, moist soil. Easy to grow. Low maintenance. Deer resistant. Combines well with epimedium, helleborus, carex, tricyrtis, Begonia grandis, chelone, smaller hostas & spring flowering bulbs. Zone 5.
