Athyrium filix-femina ‘Lady In Red’

Vibrant burgundy colored leaf stems. 2 – 3′ tall. Light to moderate shade. Tolerant of full sun if soil is kept evenly moist. Grows best in organically rich, moist soil. Deer resistant. Combines well with forget-me-nots, carex, epimedium, helleborus, toadlilies, hostas & spring flowering bulbs. Native to moist, rich woods of NE North America. Zone 2.
