A chorus of flowers ranging from whitish-pink to rose-red. Long blooming pin-cushion shaped flowers surrounded by a showy collar of papery, petal-like bracts. Deadhead to encourage reblooming. June – August. Attractive green foliage. 24 – 30″ tall. Light to moderate shade, moist soil. Good cut flower – fresh & dried. An old fashioned cottage garden perennial. Mixed borders, masses. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Low maintenance. Zone 4.
