Large, rose-pink, upward-facing flowers. Long blooming pin-cushion shaped flowers surrounded by a showy collar of papery, petal-like bracts. Deadhead to encourage reblooming. June – August. 2 – 3′ tall. Light to moderate shade, moist soil. Good cut flower – fresh & dried. An old fashioned cottage garden perennial. Mixed borders, masses. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Low maintenance. Zone 4.
