A.K.A Symphyotrichum oblongifolium. Lavender flowers. September – October. Forms a low mound of bushy, aromatic foliage. 24″ tall. Full sun. Drought and poor soil tolerant. Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies. Excellent, easy care performers! One of our favorite aster species! Suitable for use as a groundcover and in mixed borders. Northeastern U.S. native species. Zone 3.
