Clean, attractive foliage all season long. Narrower leaves than the species. Clump forming shrub-like habit. 24 – 36″ tall. Light blue flowers. May – June. Full sun – light shade; moist, well drained soil. Spectacular glowing yellow fall foliage. Long – lived. Attracts butterflies. Salt tolerant. Excellent in the mixed border and in masses. Eastern U.S. native. Zone 4.
