Grey-green leaves reach 2′ tall.  Whitish-pink umbel flowers, June – July.  Harvest garlic scapes in June (makes a great pesto!).  Harvest bulbs early July, leave smaller cloves in the ground to harvest following year.  Let a few scapes ripen and plant resulting bulblets in the fall for a future harvest. Bulbs have distinct rosy-pink skin.  Excellent potent and rich garlic flavor.  Full sun.  Moist and dry soil tolerant.  Deer resistant.  Zone 3.
