Grey-green leaves reach 2′ tall. Whitish-pink umbel flowers, June – July. Harvest garlic scapes in June (makes a great pesto!). Harvest bulbs early July, leave smaller cloves in the ground to harvest following year. Let a few scapes ripen and plant resulting bulblets in the fall for a future harvest. Bulbs have distinct rosy-pink skin. Excellent potent and rich garlic flavor. Full sun. Moist and dry soil tolerant. Deer resistant. Zone 3.
