Glossy green, twisting leaves remain attractive all season long. Rose-purple flowers in 2″ diameter balls. July – August. Forms beefy clumps 24″ tall. Full sun, well-drained soil. Useful throughout the garden: small-scale groundcover, garden borders, accent, rock gardens, small space filler and containers. Excellent cut flower, lasts up to two weeks in a vase! Attractive dried flower stalks remain upright into the winter. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Zone 5.
