Agastache foeniculum

Lavender flower spikes. Bottle brush-shaped flowers. 24 – 36″ tall.  Anise scented foliage. Excellent mid to late season bloomer.  Begins blooming in July and goes until frost!  Deadheading encourages more blooming.  Full sun – light shade; average to dry well-drained soil.  Old flower stems add nice winter interest. Excellent in combination with grasses!  Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies.  Excellent cut flower. Deer resistant. Midwest U.S. native.  Zone 4.
