Bright green sword-like leaves with a citrus-like, spicy aroma. 3′ tall. Spadix type flowers June – July. Full sun – part shade. Performs best in moist to wet soils. Useful plant in wetlands, rain gardens and moist areas. Great for stabilizing pond edges. Deer resistant. NE U.S. native. Zone 3.
