Papaver ‘Princess Victoria Louise’

Large, crepe papery salmon-pink flowers with their signature black base.  May – June.  24 – 36″ tall.  Full sun; well-drained, organically rich soil.  Deer resistant.  Attracts hummingbirds.  Summer dormant – best planted in combination with later blooming perennials: asters, chelone, echinacea, heliopsis, panicum, rudbeckia.  Zone 3.
