Papaver ‘Prince of Orange’

Large, bright tangerine orange flowers with black eye. May – June. 24 – 30″ tall. Full sun; well-drained, organically rich soil. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds. Summer dormant – best planted in combination with later blooming perennials such as asters, chelone, echinacea, heliopsis, panicum, rudbeckia. Zone 3.
