Purple and white bicolor flowers held above the foliage. April – May. Very showy. 12″ tall. Light to full shade, well-drained soil. Dry shade tolerant. Deer resistant. Competes well with tree roots. Small to large-scale groundcover, edger, tree islands, woodlands, accent. Zone 4.
