Flowers start out coppery-orange changing to flame-orange! April – May. 12 – 16″ tall. Evergreen foliage emerges red and turns red again in the fall. Part sun – shade. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Competes well with tree roots. Small to large-scale groundcover, edger, tree islands, woodlands. Zone 5.
