Striking clumps of large bluish-green paddle-shaped leaves. 3″ yellow daisy flowers with large central cones on 7′ stalks. June- July. Full Sun. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies in the summer & seed eating birds in the fall. Transparent enough to use mid-border, in masses or naturalized. Zone 4.
