Carmine pink star-shaped flowers with reddish pink calyces, blooming from Jun- Oct! Smooth, blue-green ground-hugging foliage. 6-12″ tall. Full sun. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant. Lean soil tolerant. Doesn’t like too much heat (zone 7 limit). Best for rock and scree gardens, cottage gardens and dry naturalized areas. Zone 3.
