Forms beautiful clumps of narrow, bright green leaves. 10 – 12″ tall foliage. Seed heads emerge in late spring. Light to moderate shade. Performs best in consistently moist soil. Attracts birds. Deer resistant. Excellent choice for its ability to green up early in the spring. Durable, easy care plant. Useful in mixed plantings and in masses. Northeastern U.S. native. Zone 4.
