Glossy twisting leaves remain attractive all summer long. Pink to purple flowers in large balls. July – August. Forms beefy clumps 24 – 30″ tall. Full sun, well-drained soil. Useful throughout the garden: small-scale groundcover, garden borders, accent, rock gardens, small-space filler, and containers. Excellent cut flower. Attractive dried flower stalks remain upright into the winter. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Zone 5.
