Dark green mats 1 – 2″ tall. Bright pink flowers May – June, the showiest of the creeping thymes. Full sun, well-drained soil. Tolerates light foot traffic. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Stepping stones, pathway/patio edger, small to moderate-scale groundcover. Zone 5.
