Clump forming habit and nice green blades.  Feathered copper colored flowers in August remain attractive through most of winter.  Cut back in spring.  Attracts goldfinches.  A good source of nectar and pollen for beneficial insects.  4 – 5′ tall, moves gracefully in the slightest of breezes.  Drought tolerant.  Northeastern U.S. native.  Zone 3.
