Chocolate-maroon flowers dangle from strong, slender stems. July – August. Forms beefy clumps of saw-toothed foliage. 3′ tall. Full sun – part sun, average to moist soils. Attracts butterflies. Graceful accents for their handsome, blue-green foliage and gorgeous flowers. Zone 4.
