Syn. Stipa lessingiana.  Extremely fine textured foliage forms dense clumps that move easily in the breeze. Silvery, soft, silky flowers in June turn a straw color and are effective through the fall. Ever present. 21 – 28″ tall. Full sun. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Effective singly and in masses. Zone 7.
