Bright red flowers. July – August. Mildew resistant, aromatic foliage. 48 – 60″ tall. Full sun – part shade. Moist soil tolerant – performs best when soil is kept evenly moist. Cut back spent flowers to encourage reblooming. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. NE U.S. native species. Zone 4.
