Maple leaf-shaped hairy foliage. Sweetly scented, small white flowers on slender spikes resemble snowflakes. May – June. 10″ tall (24″ in flower). Light to full shade; organically rich, moist soil. Native groundcover of NE U.S. Mixes well with ferns, sedges, hostas, toadlilies, woodland phlox. Zone 4.
