Large, dark magenta and white flowers. April – May. 12″ tall. Rich, chocolate purple foliage aging to green. Semi-evergreen. Part sun – shade, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Competes well with tree roots. Groundcover, edger, tree islands, woodlands, accent, specimen. Zone 5.
