Red flowers with prominent golden yellow edges. June – September. 6 – 10″ tall. Full sun – light shade. A sunny garden staple. Good cut flower. Plant in masses, drifts, or individually for accent. Attracts butterflies. A hybrid of eastern U.S. native species. Zone 5.
